Previewed Signal Decoupling Problem in Discrete-Time Systems

This paper deals with the decoupling problem of previewed signals. The discrete time case is considered. In this domain previewing a signal by p steps means that the sample at step k + p of the signal to be decoupled is available at instant k. New necessary and sufficient conditions are proposed for the problem with stability to be solved. These conditions are constructive, easily checkable and appear to be computable in a more convenient way if compared to previous results in literature. The framework throughout is the geometric approach to the control theory of linear systems. The main tool is the lattice of self-bounded controlled invariants that leads to the minimization of the resolving subspace which corresponds to the infimum of the lattice.
